This is the story...

This is the story of a woman who dreamed of adventures in far away lands, but came home to live the greatest adventure of her life: being a wife and mother.

I never, never dreamed this life would be the most fulfilling. Diapers and dishes were not something I looked forward to, and truth be told, they are still not my favorite. But the life lived in the midst of them, fills the longings of my heart in ways I do not know if I can even explain. But it is to this end I have begun this blog.

Note: I do not know if anyone will stumble upon this blog. This is the first blog I have started that is not for the general public, at least not now. (The only reason I'm posting on the world wide web is so I don't lose what I have typed!) My posting my be scattered and somewhat sleep deprived but there is so much beauty in daily life, I feel I will forget it all if I do not type it out. So here I begin...
